Supernova Franchise Consulting is 15 years in the making. Since starting her franchise career at barre3 in 2010, Amy Leclerc has mastered the ins and outs of franchising and knows what it takes to grow from the start-up phase to 150+ location enterprises. With Supernova, she is cultivating what she loves about growing franchise concepts and is partnering with Founders who share her obsession with remarkable client experiences and challenging the status quo.

At Supernova, we are drawn to brands that don’t feel like “franchises.” The work we do is rooted in a commitment to preserve a brand's DNA and harness it to fuel growth. Not all the brands we consult with are franchises, or become franchises and a lot of our work is around determining what growth path is right for you.

Everything from FDD development to brand distinction to sales strategy is covered in this comprehensive plan. When you graduate, you’ll be ready to take your business to market.

About Amy

A native of the Pacific Northwest, Amy spent her formative years in New York City. Professionally, she cut her teeth at Grey Advertising, which led to selling advertising for the fashion magazine NYLON. After a move back to Oregon, Amy made a complete career pivot, following her love of exercise into a 10-year career running sales and business development for the emerging fitness franchise barre3. At barre3, Amy was instrumental in building the business, scaling it from a few locations into a cult brand with over 160 franchise locations, including a location Amy opened in the West Village of New York City.

In 2018, Amy left barre3 to launch Sit Still Kids Franchising. Sit Still Kids is a modern-day kid's hair salon catering to today’s discerning parents. Over the past six years, Amy and her team have grown Sit Still to every corner of the country, and the company is well-positioned to take over the industry as the category leader.

In 2021, Amy added Pure Sweat Studios to her portfolio of personal investments and client roster. Amy was brought in by Pure Sweat Studios Founder to launch the Nashville-based franchise, nationally. Over the past year, Pure Sweat has expanded to 20+ locations,  including a franchised studio Amy co-owns in Portland, Oregon. 

Over the past few years, Amy has engaged with several Founders to optimally position their brands for scale. In launching Supernova, Amy is flexing the experience and resources she’s accumulated over the years to help Founders grow + flourish.
